Why Your Donation is Important

If Whole Woman’s Health has helped you or someone you know, or if you believe that abortions are essential, there are two ways that you can help us continue to provide compassionate care, shift the stigma around abortion, and advocate for your rights. Here’s how:

Ways to Donate

Attacks against abortion rights are at an all-time high, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure safe, legal abortion is there for anyone who needs it. We regularly take on purposeful litigation in the states where we operate and raise our voice in local, state, and national media outlets to normalize and destigmatize abortion care. No attack has been more brazen than the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. Twenty-six states are expected to ban abortion entirely in the wake of this ruling, and the the damage done will continue to compound. We will never stop fighting back against the extremists responsible for these monstrous attacks on the people, families, and communities we serve until their full rights and access to the care they need has been completely restored. Donate to join us.

Whole Woman’s Health is packing up our clinics in Texas and moving to New Mexico – and we need your help! The US Supreme Court has overturned the federal right to abortion care, and Texas quickly banned abortion statewide. Abortion access in the South will only get worse as the damage done by this awful ruling continues to compound, and conservative states pass abortion bans. New Mexico will be one of the only Southern states where abortion will remain legally protected. We are stepping up to ensure everyone has a trusted independent abortion provider as nearby as legally possible, but we can’t do it without you. We will provide first and second trimester abortions in a border city of New Mexico to provide relief as this healthcare crisis grows. But with the recent shuttering of our 4 Texas clinics, we do not have the financial reserve to open in New Mexico without your support. We are asking for your help as we pack up our Austin, McAllen, Fort Worth, and McKinney clinics, buy and renovate a building, relocate and hire clinic staff, and set up licenses and certifications in New Mexico. We appreciate anything you can give as we prepare for a future without Roe.

Whole Woman’s Health Alliance (WWHA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that intentionally opens clinics in areas of the country that are most impacted by anti-abortion legislation. WWHA has an ambitious mission to improve access to quality abortion care through direct service provision, purposeful litigation, advocacy, and strategic communications.

Independent abortion providers like Whole Woman’s Health Alliance provide over 60% of abortions in the United States, particularly in areas where we are needed most. We do this because we believe safe, affordable, quality abortion care should be accessible to all, regardless of their zip code.

Donating to WWHA allows us to direct funds to the areas of greatest need. Anti-abortion legislation results in a great deal of clinic disruption, and your donation will help us support WWH and WWHA clinics that are facing hardship and overall legal efforts to combat harmful legislation.

The Stigma Relief Fund (SRF) is an abortion fund serving people who seek abortion care at any Whole Woman’s Health clinic. The SRF was created in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is a member of the National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF). The fund provides financial support for those who cannot afford to pay the entire cost of an abortion. In addition to funding the cost of the abortion procedure, the SRF can be used for practical support such as travel, lodging, food, and other costs associated with abortion care.

The SRF is an internal abortion fund that primarily serves as gap funding for people, who after pursuing other funding options, are still unable to cover the logistical and procedural costs of care. There are no income eligibility requirements for the SRF and assessing the need for funding is based on each patient’s self-report.
